It is my opinion that the simple things in life that make it worth living. Obviously there are big things that add excitement and can certainly increase your happiness, but little things (for example, eating a piece of chocolate, getting a hug or even a text message, understanding how something works) are the things that add depth and meaning to our lives.
I am easily entertained. That is something that has been pointed out to me many, many times. When I was first told that I was a little bit offended (which was totally my fault, since taking offense is a choice.) The more I thought about it, the less it bothered me though. What others take for granted, I'm finding joy in. Like when the stoplight turns green right when I finish saying, "Turn green now or I will devour your soul!" (Ben, I hope you read this, it's much less funny to everybody else..) That's something that I love! But it probably just seems silly for people who live just for the big things.
All in all, notice the little things, you become so much happier!!

The Purpose of Brothers
So I grew up in a pretty big family. When I say that you are maybe thinking about four kids, right? Well, when I say big, I mean BIG. Let me just tell you that I am one of eight children, and I love it! Among my seven siblings I have four brothers. I love them all a lot. They each have helped me through different parts of my life, but right now I want to talk about one of my brothers in particular. I have a brother who, no matter how much we may disagree on some basic things, always understands what I am talking about 100%. He is one of those brothers who just knows instantly when there is something wrong and he somehow knows exactly what to say to help you feel better. I don't know if anybody, other than maybe my mom, has ever understood me as well as he does. So basically, the whole point of that little shpeal is that I love my brother. If you (whoever you are that is reading this) are somebody's brother, be there for your siblings. Let them vent, let them cry, give them your love. They will appreciate it. And if you have a brother, let them know that you love them.

Sometimes I wish that life was as easy as Disney makes it seem. You know, meet an awesome guy, go on an adventure, fall in love, live happily ever after! Doesn't that sound great? I think so. Well, maybe. At the same time it sounds so boring (except for the adventure part...). If life were like a Disney movie, everything would be so predictable! (though it would be pretty cool to have your own soundtrack.)
On a totally different note, have you ever had a day where you feel like you can't do anything right?? That was today. But that's ok. Because tomorrow is a new day, without any mistakes in it yet. Also, Heavenly Father loves you!

Here We Go...
Hey! I'm Sarah. And for some crazy reason, I decided that I'm going to be a blogger now. I'm not exactly sure that anything I have to say is exciting enough to read, but who knows, maybe we can all help each other. Ya see, I just have so many thoughts in my head, and sometimes I need some feedback. And my journal doesn't give much advice..
Basically, I'm just your average 18 year old gal, going to college, pretending to be grown up. Ha! That's a funny one. I think it's crazy that, when you go to college, you're all of a sudden an adult! Someone who is supposed to be a responsible, active part of society. It's like, one night you're at your graduation party being completely stupid, and the next day you become a respectable citizen. False. That doesn't work very well. Here I am, a year after graduation and I still want to crawl back to my mommy sometimes. But you know what I've decided? It's ok. That's how everybody feels. (I think) I guess practice makes perfect, and I'll just fake it 'til I make it. Sweet dreams world...
